Look Through My Dossier
Some Brief Information
Well, time to take off the mask, whatever nice it is. Crystal Guest is a nick, I also have a rather beautiful official name. It's Svetlana, a very ancient Slav name. I guess the most close translation is light (as opposed to darkness). So I guess it wasn't a huge mistake to become Crystal Guest.
I live in Moscow, the most strange city in the world, but good enough for me to be fond of it. You may have look at it really, especially if you've never been there and don't plan to go.
I was born on the 13th of January 1977, so I'm currently 21 (but things change so fast!). I'm rather fond of horoscopes, especially when they say nice things (they usually do), so if the fact I'm a Capricorn tells you anything, here it is.
I enjoy travelling and meeting new people, I've already been to Malaysia, France, Poland, Chezh Republic, Italy, Greece and Germany and plan to visit a lot of other places.

What I Do in This Life
Yes, life is not easy, my friend. And there comes a time you really should start doing something. But I'm the luckiest girl in this world, since I really enjoy what I do. Maybe it's because I really don't do anything too serious.
How do you like the picture here? It's the main building of Moscow State University, the most famous University in Russia. And I'm the proud student of it. Unfortunately (or luckily) I don't study in that beautiful building, which is actually the official symbol of MSU. Mine headquarters are The Faculty of Economics, but the only thing worth seeing at their page is the photo of the block building, since the page is in Russian and the English version is under construction, I guess, already for half a year.
Another occupation of mine, which I really enjoy and which takes a lot of time, is German. I've been learning it for 2 years already and plan to continue. It's rather nice to feel that I know it better and better with every passing day. If you are a specialist, you may look at Moscow Goethe Institut Web page, just to see what's it all about. Yes, I'm lucky, since Goethe Institut is said to be the best center for German in Moscow. You see now, I'm trying to take the best in this life.

What I Enjoy in This Life
Well, here is a lot to tell. Most of the things that I do, I enjoy. Some of the things I enjoy, but have very little time to do them.
Most of all I enjoy travelling. It brings new people, new places and new impressions to this rather ordinary life. I've already told you I've been to a half a dozen places, so here I could only suggest that you share the joys of My German Trip or go to Nuremberg yourself.
I guess Internet is also a sort of a travel, I've found here a lot of nice places I'd like to visit, or I've visited already. Well, when speaking about people you meet while travelling, one day I'll surely go to Santiago, where one of my friends lives. If I've managed to talk you into travelling, why don't you start with the most beautiful city in the world, Paris? If you enjoy fine arts, Louvre is just the place for you!
Strangely enough I enjoy studying and most of all I love learning languages. This I've done with the help of DID once and plan to try some other schools abroad. Another my big interest and enjoyment is the Net. About it I've written the whole section, here I could only say, hadn't I had my Mac, there could have been no Net for me!
As to other sweet bear necessities of life, there are a lot of them for me - a nice film, a good fantasy book, an exciting role-playing session, a quiet walk around a beautiful place and a lot more. Also I love writing letters and e-mails to people all over the world, could recommend you a good anonymous Internet Classifieds .

My Favourite Spots on the Web
They are a lot. Some of them I've already mentioned, but there are a lot more.
I'll start with the simplest. Yes, search engines. There only two for me.
Infoseek and
Sharelook Deutschland.Strongly recommend!
What else? Some time ago I've discovered a wonderful e-text archive at Project Gutenberg. Most of my favourite authors are there. Most of the classical books and some of the newest ones. And a lot of links!!!
Omnicity I've already mentioned somewhere before, now I'd like to bring your attention to other Card Center. There is a large variety of categories there and also a possibility to send your card at a specific date. Very convenient for birthdays, Christmas and similar occasions. Ooops, they really should hire me regarding the amount of advertising I've already made!
To fellow role-players I would suggest to drop to TSR, the Mother homepage. And don't forget about my own little AD&D center!
Macintosh is really something special to me, I've seen a lot of useful for Mac all over the Web. My latest kick is ClixSounds . Load some extraordinary sound for your alert, for example a yawn of awakening dinosaur. Or something with a real Marsian tune! Or as a starting point Cult of Mac is a good place! And this one is a
rather good Mac's Software Center. Enjoy!
Here are two rather official sites that I found interesting to drop to. One is of International Monetary Fund and the other of Bank of Russia. The latter I've found extremely useful while completing my diploma. If you are interested in such things, then visit The Bank of England or The Bank of Spain.
